The Great Crowd!
by A Believer innotice the 144000 can be counted and they all come from israel.. 9 after this i saw, and look!
a great crowd, which no man was able to number, out of all nations and tribes and peoples and tongues,*+ standing before the throne and before the lamb, dressed in white robes;+ and there were palm branches in their hands.+ .

Oh gosh. . . . .
Imagine Noah building the ark.
Yes, you will need to imagine this, because there is not a shred of evidence that it ever happened.
While you're at it, imagine talking snakes and donkeys too.

Message from Trey Bundy, investigative reporter for the Center for Investigative Reporting (CIR)
by AndersonsInfo intoday we're launching disfellowshipped, a three-episode story about the jehovah's witnesses' practice of shunning, told in virtual reality.. we designed disfellowshipped to be an immersive experience, best viewed with a vr headset.
(you can find several affordable models on amazon.
) but you can also watch it on most newer smartphones and desktops in 360-degree flat video, without a headset.

About four pages in, there's a talking snake.
Had I not been indoctrinated with this crap since I was 5 or 6, I would have been done right there.

Once upon a time. . . . I was given a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue as a gift. It was an outstanding blended whiskey.
But as far as I'm concerned, nothing beats MacAllan 18. It is a remarkable scotch, and draws a remarkable price.

22 fascinating maps that show how Americans speak English differently across the US
by blondie inhttp://www.msn.com/en-us/lifestyle/smart-living/22-fascinating-maps-that-show-how-americans-speak-english-differently-across-the-us/ss-bbwqtug?li=bbnb7kz&ocid=iehp .
everyone knows americans don't agree on pronunciations.. that's great, because regional accents and dialects are a major part of why american english is so interesting.. josh katz, a former ph.d. student of statistics at north carolina state university, published a group of awesome visualizations of professor bert vaux and scott golder's linguistic survey, which looked at differences in american dialects (via detsl on /r/linguistics).. his results were first published on the abstract, the nc state university research blog.
the complete set of katz's maps, updated with the results from more than 350,000 new survey responses, are compiled in the new book "speaking american," publishing october 25 from houghton mifflin harcourt.. katz gave business insider permission to publish some of the coolest maps from his collection..

Poor Philadelphia with their bizarre belief that a "sub" is a "hoagie."
They're lock-step with Watchtower on that one (anyone remember the "hoagies" served at district conventions?)

Inevitable Life - Video
by cofty invery interesting lecture and q&a session by professor eric smith of the santa fe institute.
in his discussion of the primacy of energy there is a lot of overlap with the ideas of nick lane of university college london.
if you still think abiogenesis had something to do with "primordial soup" you should invest half an hour to watch this.. ....
